Coating / casting

Electrical insulation coatings effectively repel moisture and foreign matter, largely preventing oxidation, corrosion and electrochemical migration.

Coating printed circuit boards and encapsulating printed circuit boards

The protective coating of electronic assemblies, e.g. with protective lacquer for printed circuit boards, has become very important in electronics production in recent years.

By coating with electrical insulating materials, an economical protective measure against moisture and other foreign matter influences is achieved and thus oxidation, corrosion and electrochemical migration are largely prevented.

In order to give your assembly the optimum protection, we process various materials, by means of selective coating, up to complete encapsulation.

Performance features Painting (selective coating)

  • Fully automated inline system with loader and unloader
  • Coating thickness and flow control, with 100% reproducibility and process reliability
  • Different coating thicknesses per blank configurable
  • Use of Peters varnish (clear or colored, visible infrared), widely used in Europe and UL / MIL / IPC tested

Potting features

  • Potting with manual and fully automatic processing, e.g. for the encapsulation of components such as capacitors, transformers, tantals or integrated circuits.
  • High-quality 2K epoxy resin of insulation class E.
  • Void-free potting due to process-controlled vacuuming.

At Timelec, we precisely coat printed circuit boards and encapsulate printed circuit boards to ensure the longevity and quality of your products.

After all, electronic protective coating is only effective if it is used with care and applied professionally.

We will be happy to advise you in detail on how we can lacquer your printed circuit boards or encapsulate PCBs to achieve optimum results.
